MobilityGuard

Keeping watch over their scooter

Add a scooter

No scooters were found on this account yet. Normally they appear automatically after signing in โ€” if yours doesn't, you can add it by its Device ID from ThingsBoard. Your dealer or the person who set this up can give you this.

Places

Home and the places the rider often goes. Carers get a message when the scooter comes inside a circle, and when it goes more than 100 m beyond it. A safe area is different: a big circle or a shape you draw, which the rider normally stays in, and carers get an alert if the scooter goes outside it.

    What we keep

    • Where the scooter is, its battery, and when it's ridden or charged, sent by the tracker.
    • Names and mobile numbers of the rider and carers on the alert list.
    • Emergency info for 999, only if you fill it in and tick the box.
    • Your login, and this phone's notification code so alerts reach you.

    Why

To show you the scooter, send alerts and reminders, and look after the battery. Nothing else.

    Who can see it

People with a login for this scooter, your dealer and the MobilityGuard team. We never sell it or use it for adverts. Texts go out through our own text phone, and app notifications through Google's notification service.

    How long we keep it

    • Location history: 30 days, then deleted automatically.
    • Alerts, texts and replies: 30 days.
    • Notification history: 90 days.
    • Battery health records: kept so we can follow the battery over its life, until MobilityGuard deletes them. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

    Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Most features can be switched off here in Settings.

This is a beta version. MobilityGuard is still being tested, so things may change and now and then something may not work as it should. Please tell us if you spot anything. It doesn't replace calling 999 in an emergency.

MobilityGuard checks in with the scooter about once a minute for battery health, location and alerts.
